Privacy Policy

This policy explains which data LinguaFox processes, why it is needed, and which choices you have.

Cookies and local storage

LinguaFox uses a necessary sign-in cookie to keep authenticated sessions secure. Local storage remembers language and workspace preferences and your acknowledgement of the cookie notice. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

Data we process

We process account details, language preferences, saved vocabulary, lessons, Coach transcripts and summaries, usage records, Fox Tails transactions, referral codes and relationships, and technical logs required to operate and secure LinguaFox.

Why we process it

Data is used to authenticate you, synchronize your workspace, personalize learning, provide AI and voice features, calculate usage, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Service providers

LinguaFox may use Supabase for authentication and data, OpenAI for AI and voice processing, Cloudflare R2 for cached audio, Amazon SES for email, PayPal for payments, and hosting or monitoring providers. Each provider receives only the data needed for its role.

Audio and Coach sessions

Voice input is sent for transcription and response generation. Uploaded video and audio are stored temporarily while they are processed and then deleted. Session summaries may be stored in your account so they remain searchable. Cached lesson audio may be stored to reduce latency and repeated generation costs.

Retention and deletion

Your workspace data is retained while your account is active. Deleting an item removes it from the active workspace. Deleting your account initiates removal of associated lessons, vocabulary, Coach history, and cached user assets, subject to security logs, payment records, backups, and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can edit profile preferences, delete individual saved content, and request account deletion. You may contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights.

Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service is risk-free. Material policy changes will be published here with a revised date.
