Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use LinguaFox and how Fox Tails, your content, and AI-generated learning material are handled.

Service

LinguaFox provides AI-assisted language lessons, vocabulary tools, text-to-speech, and conversational coaching. AI output may contain mistakes and should be treated as educational assistance, not professional advice.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use the service lawfully. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, attempt to bypass usage controls, or interfere with the service.

Instruction refinement

To create more natural and useful learning material, LinguaFox may improve, clarify, correct, or translate instructions you provide, including titles, topic briefs, selected vocabulary, pasted text, and image-derived text. This refinement is intended to preserve your apparent learning goal and remove obvious errors; it must not intentionally replace your goal with unrelated subject matter. By creating an account, you agree that this refinement is part of the service.

Fox Tails and payments

New accounts receive 1,000 free Fox Tails that can be used across AI lessons, screenshot processing, AI voice, and Fox Coach. Adding, importing, generating and re-translating vocabulary, individual word pronunciation and standard study are free. A configured, saved vocabulary-practice MP3 uses Fox Tails for one-time preparation and any genuinely new pronunciations; repetitions and later replays do not. Free Fox Tails are always deducted before paid Fox Tails, so purchased credit remains protected until the free balance is exhausted. Displayed costs are estimates; actual deductions depend on usage. Once an eligible AI job starts, we reserve the displayed amount and complete that job under the reservation; another paid AI action may require a top-up. Fox Tails purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Except where law requires otherwise, consumed Fox Tails are non-refundable.

Referral rewards

Each account may have a personal referral code and link. When a new learner registers through that link and confirms their account, the referrer receives 1,000 Fox Tails. While the referral remains active, the referrer may also receive 10% of paid Fox Tails purchased by that learner. Referral rewards are issued as in-app Fox Tails, are not cash, and may be withheld or reversed for self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraud, refunds, chargebacks, or other abuse.

Your content

You retain rights in text you submit. You grant LinguaFox permission to process and store it only as needed to provide your lessons, library, vocabulary, audio cache, and Coach history.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an availability basis and may change as models and providers evolve. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinguaFox is not liable for indirect loss or decisions made from AI-generated output.

Termination

You may delete your account from Account settings. We may suspend abusive or unlawful use. Account deletion removes associated workspace data subject to short-lived operational backups and legal retention duties.
